"It's not enough that we
do our best; sometimes we have to do what's required."
Sir
Winston Churchill (1874 - 1965)
Don Belman
President

Builder, Broker, Realtor, and Land Developer. Founded Don
Belman Homes, Inc. based on the highest level of construction quality and
Satisfaction in 1971. Don is past President of the Metropolitan Builders
Association and 1996 Builder of the Year.
The funniest thing
Don has ever seen in this business is when a skunk moved into th basement of a
new construction home. A contractor found it, got scared and laid a plank down
and crawled out of the window so he would not get sprayed. The skunk then
later used the same method to escape. Don says if he could do one thing
in life and not fail he would build the Empire State Building. The worst
job he ever had was installing sewer lines when he was in College. Don
enjoys fishing in Canada, watching the History and Weather channel, and
gambling.
Professional Certifications: Realtor®, Real Estate Broker, NAHB member, Spike Member, Past MBA (Metropolitan Builders Association) President,
Carol Belman
Vice President

Warranty coordinator, Insurance Director, and caretaker of office
records. Carol develops new procedures and office systems, and also
coordinates insurance issues. She copyrights all original Don Belman
Homes material.
Carol is responsible
for making sure Don is at work everyday. When she is not working, she is
picking up after him. She thought getting Dan and David out of the house
would keep it clean but Don was the culprit all along! She also loves to
travel to unique and beautiful places and then run to the nearest casino and
gamble. She enjoys watching the Brewer's and reading books.
She admits her worst job was as a waitress when she was in College.
Dan Belman
Real Estate Manager

Certified new home sales professional, MLS broker, Realtor®.
Won Sales Manager of the Year Award in 1997. Member of the
Metropolitan Builders Association and Sales and Marketing Council. He founded Belman Homes in 2002, a full service Realty firm. Oversees Real
Estate transactions and advertising.
Dan enjoys water
skiing. In fact, he enjoys it so much we hardly see him in the summer.
Some say he was born with gasoline in his veins. Motorcycles, ATVs,
cars, mowers, snowmobiles, boats you name it, he's had it. The insurance
guy loves it when he calls. He has a wife name Raelynn and two children,
Brandon and Victoria. When you don't see Dan at the office he is
probably running Brandon to Football or guitar practice and Victoria to
basket ball and baseball practice.
Professional Certifications: Realtor®, Real Estate Broker,
David Belman
Sales/Marketing Manager

MLS broker, Realtor®, Business Administration degree from Carroll
College. 1997 Metropolitan Builders Association Salesperson of the
Year. David develops Marking tools, oversees website, develops new home
plans, and quotes new homes. He founded Belman Builders in 2000.
David's worst job
was picking up construction debris when he was 8 years old. Don would
routinely drop him off at a job site and leave him for 3 or 4 hours at a time.
One time, shortly after he left, David stepped on a nail and was stranded
in the middle of nowhere picking up garbage with a bloody foot. When
David is not working (which is not very often) his wife Susan claims he is
hyperactive and enjoys working out, playing basketball, Tae Kwon Do, swimming,
playing Madden, or watching movies. David claims his wife can't say no
to animals, and since David can't say no to Susan, they have four animals: a
huge Rottweiler named Kasey, and 3 cats: Kailey, Zach, and Riley.
Professional Certifications: B.A. Business Management, Realtor®, Real Estate Broker, Uniform Dwelling Contractor, CAPs (Certified Aging in Place), CCP (Certified Construction Professional), Metropolitan Builders Association (MBA) Board of Directors, Vice Chairman of MBA Green Building Council.
Bill Schmidt

Received an accounting degree from the University of
Wisconsin-Whitewater. Member of Institute of Management of Accountants.
Oversees new construction closings, draw paperwork, accounts payable and
receivable. Everyone loves Bill. (He's in charge of the
paychecks!) Bill comes from a big family. He has eight brothers
and sisters! In fact, if we built a home for everyone in his family, we
wouldn't have to advertise for quite a while. He has a wife Chris and a
son Joshua 13, in addition to two baby daughters Kailee 2, and Kendall 1. When he is not at work Bill is busy writing out birthday,
anniversary, and congratulation cards to his family. Just kidding about
that one. Bill enjoys playing in softball and basketball leagues and
enjoys watching sports.
Professional Certifications: Member of Institute of Management Accountants.
Linda Jason
Real Estate Closing Coordinator and Administrative Assistant.
 |
Linda has always had a passion for home design, landscaping and remodeling so she was a great fit for Belman homes. She has several years experience in customer service and as an administrative assistant. Her cheery attitude and enthusiasim for homes makes her a great point person for Belman homes.
She coordinates Real Estate transactions, prepares closing documents,
and answers phones. When not working, Linda enjoys being outdoors planting flowers and gardening or redecorating her home.
She once won a Better Homes and Gardens award for a remodeling project in her home. She has two daughters; Jamie, 20 and Danielle, 17 and one son, Eric 14. |
Jeff Kmiecik
Construction Expediter.

Jeff has over 22 years
of new construction rough and finish carpentry experience. He is
responsible for applying and obtaining permits for construction, and scheduling
new construction. Jeff has been with Belman now for over 8 years now.
Jeff is in charge of filing and obtaining building permits, and expediting
homes. Jeff admits his worst job ever was working for another builder
who thought he was the second coming of Walt Disney. Jeff is also a handy
guy to have around. He can build and fix just about anything. He
loves restoring on old cars. When he is not a Belman Homes he enjoys
fishing on Lake Michigan, watching the Discovery and History channel or chasing
around his golden retriever. He has a son and a daughter, Wyatt and
Kayla.
Professional Certifications: Certified Uniform Dwelling Contractor
Matt Heaton
Licensed Architect.

Matt received a Degree from Milwaukee School of Engineering.
He owns MBH Architects. He engineers and designs new homes, and makes
design modifications to existing plans. We keep Matt very busy since we never
seem to build the same home twice. We keep trying but to no avail. When
Matt is not drawing beautiful homes he enjoys playing Ice Hockey. Matt's
wife Lonnie runs a large day care business from home. Sometimes they have
over 10 kids in the house at once! No wonder Matt spends so much time
here! But Matt really does like kids... Sure Matt, see you at the office
at 7:00 p.m.
Bryan Heaton
Assistant Architect

Bryan engineers and designs new homes and
makes design modifications to existing plans. Brian is Matts son and is
currently finishing up his education to become a licensed Architect. When
Bryan is not attending class or working for his dad he also enjoys playing ice
hockey. Bryan also makes models of some of the homes they
design.
Sherri Cudnohoske
New Home
Consultant

Realtor® Sherri has over 15
years of new construction and Real Estate Experience. MBA® Standard
of Excellence Silver Award winner.
Sherri has been a
great addition to our sales force for over 2 years now. When she is not
working at Belman, she can be found shopping at the mall. Believe me,
Sherri loves to shop. Sherri also enjoys spoiling her two dogs, a cocker
spaniel named Sassy and a Lasha named Max. She has two sons (whom
she also enjoys spoiling) named Matt and Jason and her husband Dave who insists
he is could use more spoiling. Sherri's favorite show is desperate
housewives and she admits that she can't keep a secret.
Tony Lapcinski
New Home
Consultant

Realtor® Tony has over 4
years of new construction and Real Estate Experience and over 20 years of sales
experience. Tony got his start in Real Estate at Shorewest Realty, he
showed one home and was hooked. He then tried new construction and
enjoyed that even more which led him over here. Tony admits when he was
in school that he was involved in everything and loves to chitchat. He
can talk to anyone about anything. (Trust me he will talk your ear off
if you let him) Tony is semi-retired after working in a large
corporation for many years and sells homes because he loves it so much. His
desire is to make it fun for our customers. He has a wife Joanne and
three children Amy, Jesse and Scot. Tony loves watching college sports
and you can spot him eating lunch at Tallengers when he is not at work.
Chase
Office
Greeter

Chase has become the new office greater since the passing of Cody. Chase is a white golden retriever who is a tad excitable. He is getting very good at his job and we have since removed the "Greeter in Training" tag.
Kasey
Office Security

Kasey only stops by on occasion. Some people are a
little intimiated by Kaseys size (she is a Rottweiler) but she loves people and
children and wants to meet everyone. She makes sure to check out everyone
coming in and out and keeps us all safe. When she is not at work she is sneaking
up on the sofa for a nap, playing with her buddy Riley the cat or hunting
possums in the yard.
